The truth is, it is difficult, but there are things you can do. Sometimes you might have a full name for the person but very little else. Maybe you don’t have any information at all.
Regardless of the circumstances we can help you solve this problem and get some answers for you.
It’s something that we do on a daily basis. We help people who are looking to find someone but have no information. This could be no name, no last known address or even no age.
With this type of search we are usually working for the following type of person,
- A son or daughter who are looking for their father but have very limited information about him. This can be because people do not want to release information about him but can also be because the people who had information have passed away.
- An old friend who just can’t remember their last name. With the passage of time this always happens so if this is your situation, please don’t worry then we can help.
- Looking for a lost love or an old flame. Again with the passage of time it is easy to forget a surname.
- Maybe you’ve met someone and never knew their surname. This doesn’t mean you were not close and that it’s not important to find them.
Regardless of the situation you find yourself in or the reason you don’t know much information about the person you are looking for, we can help.
But how can you find someone with only a first name?
Well when we are performing these searches we have a consultation with you to make sure that we have all the information that you do have, as we know this might be very little but it’s important that we know what you know and what you don’t.
If you are looking for a blood relative then we can use DNA to find them, this is a relatively new technique but it is one that can work really well. We can get into your bloodline and start to look for relatives and work out who might be the person you are looking for. This is great for finding parents, siblings and cousins.
If you are looking for an old friend but don’t know their last name then clearly, you can’t use DNA. What you can do is try and piece together the information you do know and work forward from there. You are always looking for something to hang your hat on and allow you to move forward. This could be your old friend’s old address, place of work, parent’s names, age, sibling’s names or even a hobby or interest. They are out there somewhere so it’s just a case of looking in the right place. Our team are trained to do that, to take snippets of information and use it to find exactly who you are looking for. This technique also works really well when you are looking for a lost love with no last name.
If you need any help with this you can call us on 0113 282 5900 and we’d be happy to tell you more about our professional service to exactly who you are looking for.
This is just a short article that I hope has given you a few ideas to find someone without knowing their last name.
